Juvéderm® Price Increases

Due to the medical device tax included in the Affordable Care Act Allergan has announced a 3% price increase on all implantable fillers including all types of Juvéderm®.  Unfortunately we will be passing this cost on to our patients.  This tax effects all implantable fillers so this price increase will eventually result in an increase in Radiesse as well as other brands of filler.

Dear Allergan Customer:

We would like to inform you of an upcoming price change on Natrelle® Round Gel, Natrelle® Saline and Juvéderm® Family of Products. Effective March 18, 2013, a 3% price adjustment will take into effect.

Since the introduction of Natrelle® Round Gel, Natrelle® Saline and Juvéderm® Family of Products, Allergan has never taken a price increase. While no one welcomes a price increase, this nominal adjustment is driven by the increase in costs associated to research and development, direct to consumer advertising and loyalty programs, as well as the impact of the most recent Federal tax law.

We have endeavored to minimize the impact of the price adjustment by enhancing the Allergan Partner Privileges® Program. As of April 1st, our new program provides meaningful discounts off the entire Allergan Portfolio of Aesthetic Products including our newly acquired SkinMedica® brands.

We genuinely appreciate your business and remain committed to supporting your practice in any way appropriate. Allergan is the leading aesthetics company in the world and we will always innovate to bring important new products so that you and your patients have excellent choices in aesthetic medicine.

Sincerely,

David Endicott
President,  Allergan Medical
